David Bergstein Sues His Former Attorney for $50 Million
The David Bergstein lawsuit circus is continuing to grow to incorporate another former attorney for that embattled film executive. Bergstein as well as an entity known as Graybox LLC on Monday prosecuted Teri Zimon, who formerly symbolized his interests and it is now charged with using personal data to assist the creditors within the involuntary personal bankruptcy proceeding against him. EXCLUSIVE STORY: Two New Legal cases Filed as David Bergstein Film Finance Mess Gets Hotter Bergstein, the first kind mind of film companies ThinkFilm and Capitol Films, continues to be the topic of court scrutiny over his business practices with film investor Ron Tutor. Bergstein already is involved in lawsuit with Susan Tregub, an old attorney who he claims used sensitive information against him, allying herself with Bergstein enemy Aramid Entertainment Fund to initiate the involuntary personal bankruptcy which has plauged Bergstein for a long time. Zimon, who's alleged to become a close confidant of Tregub,is charged with helping Aramid search up grime on Bergstein to fuel the claims against him. The suit, filed in La Superior Court, claims a minimum of $50 million in damages from breaches of fiduciary responsibilities, professional negligence and aiding and abetting breach of fiduciary responsibilities.
